It's a damn shame that he should be having to go through all that BS, just goes to show the level of care the wounded vets are receiving though, a major infection and he's sent home told not to worry about it.

It is truly tragic that this kind of crap happened to a wounded soldier. It is not an isolated case at all. So how is a bureaucratic decision by theVA Obama's fault? That same kind of crap has happened on the watch of every president who has been in office since the VA was formed.

Do not pretend to tell me a damn thing about the VA. In the 80s and 90s the VA screwed up my refillprescriptionsnumerous timesby substituting meds that could have killed me.

In 1984, the ClarksburgVA hospital sent me to the VA hospital in Pittsburgh for an operation:The Pittsburg VAnever sent my medical records back to Clarksburg. As a result i could not get my meds refilled. The administrator's solution: Drive to Pittsburgh and get my medical records. My solution: Raise hell with the entire US congressional delegation from WV. Lots of folks must have complained: The idiot was fired.

The VA hospital in OK City is a sewer with the atmosphere of a mortuary that is staffed with ghouls. Most VA doctors are foreigners, many of them are not conversant in English.

Nothing in the heartless and incompetent VA system is ever going to change until there is a wall to wall house cleaning.

And there you have it.......gov't sponsored healthcare. Remarkably, some people want this for the entire country.[:'(] Makes as much sense as wanting them to take over private business when they can't even run their own cafeteria.

I will tell you how it is Obama's fault. It was news a week or two ago on CNN and other places that Obama wants to make private insurance take care of the war vets. He wants to pass the bill if someone in the democratic party creates such a bill after promising he would take care of all vets wounded in war. He hasn't done anything about this yet. It looks like this practice has started because Obama and the democrats have allowed it.

Democrats are always bad for our military both active and retired or disabled. They would rather give money to welfare rather than to the people who earned the rightfor help.
