I was stationed in Petaluma, CA (US Coast Guard Yeoman school) back in 1980 when Mt. Saint Helens blew. Even from CA, you could look north/northeast and see this massive haze in the atmosphere.

Great take all the land away , Make us go to work come home pay taxes and have NO place to enjoy with out having Rules... It will come soon if we all don't step up and do something about it....
