Was the election really a "landslide" as some of the Dems in this forum profess? I think not.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:
-Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 - Republicans: 29
-Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 - Republicans: 2,427,000
-Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million - Republicans: 143 million
-Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 - Republicans: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare."
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "government dependency" phase.
Pretty freaking sad that this is what we are becoming, in my opinion.
That is the craziest stuff I ever read.haha. This professor Olson charactor sounds like an idiot. FYI, the Republicans got us into this mess and now the majority of tax payers and land owners 'Dems' have to get us out of it. Also, the election definately was a landslide, it always is when the people turn out in the numbers the Dems had this election.
You would think these Republicans in the whitehouse would be offering up some idea's on how to fix the problem. The fact is there is no plan by them. The Dems are at least showing leadership by doing something, maybe wrong, but maybe right, but they are working, instead of drawing a taxpayer check and scheming.
I love these maps becausethey show me where all the Kool Aid drinkers live:

"Maybe wrong" eh? So you are finally starting to realize what the Dems are doing? The wrong leadership is just that, wrong.

When I first saw the maps, I knew that up here in the Dakota's Montana, Wyoming and several other states, that the bule in all the Red is where our Indian reservations are. You can find them on a real map. They are libby country. More bucks from the governments check book.
