Environmentalists drive places in Oregon from wealthy to poor
Just saw a segment on the news about somewhere in Oregon where they have abundant farmland and trees. Environmentalists outlawed timber production, so it went from being wealthy to poor, to the point of there being many boarded up houses and buildings. So now they want to put wind farms in the open areas to spur job growth and economic activity. But guess what? You guessed it! Environmentalists are complaining that doing so might threaten some birds. Once again, the very source of energy embraced by democrats to the exclusion of coal, gas, oil and nukes, is undermined by the far left wing radicals who evidentally run the show there! [:-]
