Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Environmentalists drive places in Oregon from wealthy to poor

Just saw a segment on the news about somewhere in Oregon where they have abundant farmland and trees. Environmentalists outlawed timber production, so it went from being wealthy to poor, to the point of there being many boarded up houses and buildings. So now they want to put wind farms in the open areas to spur job growth and economic activity. But guess what? You guessed it! Environmentalists are complaining that doing so might threaten some birds. Once again, the very source of energy embraced by democrats to the exclusion of coal, gas, oil and nukes, is undermined by the far left wing radicals who evidentally run the show there! [:-]

environmentalists always go too far, I guess they figure people should move elsewhere.

If it were left up to them humans would all commit suicide for the greater good of the planet, you have to wonder sometimes why the word "mentalist" even appears in their name...

And if ANY hunter embraces one of these types on an issue they had better be prepared to be backstabbed at the greenies first opportunity. Chances are they are against hunting too.
They relly appreciate the help they get from some of us on public land (anti) access issues for now, Roadless rule- Yellowstone to Yukon (Omnibus) etc.
