Default Kaibab and Rainmaker what say you?

Take a look at this video and letus know what you have to say about this. I am anxiously awaiting a well thought out, intelligent, and rational response.I am by no means saying I will not receive one. I am just saying I would like to have one.

Sounds like Shep is trying to excitedly save Fox News from further tanking because he has a fact that the bonuses are contracts. Ha, we already know that some are contracts, although not all the bonuses are contracted, alot of them are retention bonuses offered at the last minute, wich is a whole other thing. Its not news that congress okay'ed the bonuses. The news is that the majority of the american people want it stopped, so they are stopping it. Also Shep told on his own party about the SEC, while he cleverly left out some of Phil Gramms bills, I wonder why he left those out??? lol......

Flyinfeahter,

To what extent are you going to take this? I have not ONCE denied Chris Dodd"™s idiotic move was irrational, not once. I find incredibly perplexing that you would even make another thread about the same topic in which FOUR threads already exists. I find it perplexing that you try to pin someone down for something they HAVEN"™T denied. I find it perplexing that you make such an ordeal of something that is obviously a congressional loophole, yet you never repute the move of Bush in September of 2008 which did the exact same thing. I also find incredible that you expect me to answer one of your questions when you won"™t and can"™t answer mine when I challenge your history credentials.

Additionally, Shep Smith can pontificate all he wants, but that doesn"™t make it so, unless of course you are willing to accept everything that Keith Olbermann says is true as well.

Sorry, I didn't see a relevant question from you to answer."ť (That"™s your response)
The Question was: Are you going to respond to the fact that Bush did the same thing last fall? . That sir is poor debating at its finest. You won"™t respond because you know your "śscrewed the pooch"ť comment about the Dems, is no different than Bush"™s actions in September of 2008.

You asked: "śDid Bush, as you claim, draft the September bill and sign it all by himself without the approval from Congress? How did he do that? Who had the majority?"ť

My Answer: No, he didn"™t need the approval from Congress, it was an administrative action. No bill, no congressional involvement! I told this to you thisalready, if you can"™t understand what I"™m saying (which is pretty straight forward) go ahead and "śblah blah blah"ť on by yourself, you only make yourself look like someone who is more interested in finger pointing than actually brining forward something to expose the truth.

Once again, here is your link"¦.. Bush did the exact same thing"¦.. Can I hear you knock on wood?

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/17/aig.bailout.congress/index.html

As a response to your question on about the video: What do you want me to say? Yep Chris is an idiot, just like Bush. Is that the rational response you wanted, or do you want me to defend a position I don"™t agree with?"¦"¦.Hey, I can create another thread so we can whine some more about who did what, or we ( at some point) can actually start talking about what we need to do to move the country forward. This is why congress can"™t get anything done"¦ finger pointing.

The Dems have control of Congress until the next election like it or not, So make a suggestion on what they should do. You and the Republican in Congress, for God"™s sake, make a suggestion. Can you do that?

Rm,
I think your ears are on backwards.

The fact that you think Fox News is tanking means your reasoning is completely backwards.

FNC has been the top rated cable news network for 86 consecutive months, finishing February as the third most watched basic cable network in primetime.
CNN was 15th and MSNBC was 23rd. In primetime (M-F), FNC averaged 2.8 million viewers (657,000 in the demo). CNN averaged 1.3 million total viewers (407,000 in the demo) and MSNBC averaged 1.1 million viewers (377,000 in the demo).
HLN, which gets a fraction of the viewers that FNC does and still trails CNN and MSNBC, nevertheless posted some significant gains in February. The network was up 28% in total day and 62% in primetime. And HLN's Nancy Grace has now beaten MSNBC's Keith Olbermann for three consecutive months in the all-important sales demo. Buoyed by tragic cases of Caylee Anthony and Haleigh Cummings, Grace has posted gains of 74% and 83% in total viewers and the demo, respectively. The network's replacement for Glenn Beck, who jumped ship for FNC, has also improved the network's time period average. Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell has given HLN its highest 7 p.m. numbers in network history, up 74% in total viewers and 54% in the demo.

I responded to you in your thread Party of NO.........read it. The republicans can make all the suggestions they want. It won't make a hill of beans because it will never make it to the floor. I completely agree we need to get something done. We need to do it right and not rush through it. We have way to many knee-jerk reactions so far. I also never endorsed what Bush did in September. That never was a part of my debate. The part of my debate was that Geithner was involved in framing the bailout in September. I never brought Bush up.....you did the finger pointing on that one. You did the finger pointing in your thread at the repubs to start the thread. Like I said before kaibab, I am an Independent. I don't like either party and what has been happening. We can argue this forever and granted we will never make any progress. If you want to end the finger pointing so be it. Let's start having civil debates about the issues at hand. You quit your finger pointing and I will do the same. It is getting quite old from both sides. Just don't try and cram the Dems ideas down my throat like it is the gospel and the way to salvation. I have a degree in Economics and Finance and I think I can determine for myself if I think this mess will work or not. So far the models are not very promising.

I did compliment you on your Sinatra thread.
