65 House Democrats Oppose An AWB

Here is their letter to Holder. Actually there are80-90Democrats in the house who willvote against an AWB.Pelosi has stated that she will not bring an AWBup forvote in the house: She is wellaware that doing so wouldfracture party unityin the house.

It's worth noting that not all liberal Democrats are anti-2nd Amendment. And alternatively, all Republicans are not necessarily pro-2nd Amendment.

give Obama time ....... many a vote can switch for "favors" on other bills ....... Dem's are almost always anti-gun regardless of what they say

Obama doesn't need House votes. All he needs is for one of the "right" guys to resign from the Supreme Court.

I don't think there's a 'wrong' answer been posted here yet. I agree with all positions and will further qualify things by saying that we EXPECT republicans to stand up for our CIVIL RIGHTS but when a Democrat does that, it's a pleasant surprise.

When a republican turns scumbag and votes FOR a bill to truncate civil rights it constitutes an UNpleasant surprise while the instance of a democrat doing the same thing is 'business as usual'.
