Doesn't sound at all like McCain. First, I believe it was Bush that said the fundamentals were sound...
Second, McCain was going to give a healthcare credit that would have set-off the increase in taxes. Obama chastised McCain for proposing the healthcare tax (and his ads did NOT mention the offsetting tax credit.... more evidence that Obama is a liar and that the voters who elected him are idiots). Obama is not proposing a similar credit. And, Obama specifically pledged that he would not raise taxes on ANYONE making less than $250,000. I saw a chart in the paper yesterday indicating that in our family's income range, our tax increase will be over $4,000, and we're not anywhere near that $250K cut-off. (And, this is where the descriptors for Obama voters get worse... dolts, assclowns, morons, leeches, parasites, thieves, I can go on all day...)
