Obama is stealing McCains ideas.
The very ones he made fun of McCain for. Help my out Obama supporters. This makes no sense. I can vividly remember Obama blasting McCain, during the debates, for this very thing. So, was he against it, before he was for it?
"With President Obama's plan to tax the rich to pay for health care facing deep skepticism on Capitol Hill, key lawmakers are pressing a different way to raise money: taxing the health benefits workers receive from their employers. "

Burnie, whoever first came up with the idea of taxing company providedhealth benefits needs a good horse whipping in public. That idiot Baucus needs to be horse whipped twice, once on a public street and once in a hog wallow.

RE: Obama is stealing McCains ideas.
I agree. I never liked the notion when McCain came up with it. But isnt it odd that Obama is considering this, especially after he ripped McCain apart because of it.

Burn, where in the article does it say Obama was for it? methinks your despite for POTUS has caused you to suffer from premature exclamation....
(don't worry-happens to everybody, or so i'm told)
McCain's tax plan on healthcare benifits actually worked out as a tax decrease for most.

No where in the article does it say Obama will do that......
I think you need to go back and read it again. President Obama would like to pass it as long as he is not the one who starts the debate.

He didn't outright reject it and it's still on the table. That ought to tell you something. Wake the hell up.

You need a vocabulary lesson..... it says "signaled".... that doesn't mean he WILL. Remember when Bush singnaled that there were WMD in Iraq.... hey guess what happened?there weren't any. Go figure..
So until it happens or when you see come out of Obama's mouth...... don't comment.

I will comment on your retort........Obama said he would oppose earmarks.....ummm remind me........what did he just sign? And don't give me the BS about it was written under the Bush administration.......that gives him more credence to reject it. He has already overturned some of Bush's actions. Why didn't he man up and keep his promise?
