Survey shows a decline in Christian faith through out America

To tell you the truth, I never thought I'd see something like this. Makes one wonder...... hmm. What's your take?

P.S. Didn't want to post this in the religious forum..... It would have either been removed or this thread would have taken too much critisism ( <<<< which I expect from here as well ).

I read a similar report yesterday that said the same thing. I cannot say it surprises me.

Alot of the reason lyes in the actions of the churches and pastors. Alot of people have lost trust, especially the way finances have been handled and the corruption and other things,... causes doubt.

Change is the only constant, why should theology be exempt? Beliefs change, nothing new there.

It has nothing to do with pastors, churches, its the will of God. Guys all this stuff is clearly written in the Word of God. Anybody that can't see it has thier eyes blinded by the wants of this world. Its the way its supposed to happen. Nothing can keep the will of God from happening.

Don't be scared to post it in the religious forum. Most of those folks clearly konw the scripture related to it. Silly to think it would be removed. Read 1-Peter thru Revelations and you will see how it should go down.

Only thing that gets removed there is when someone maliciously tries to cause problems. But most of those have been dealt with.

The Constitution makes absolutely no reference to Christianity and actually provides for a separation of Church and State. The biggest threat to our Constitution comes from Christian fundamentalists who want to turn the United States into a bible based theocracy. Just look at their endless attempts to remove science from our public school classrooms and replace it with creationist nonsense.
