Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default I've had my fill of the so called president.

First it was shutting down Gitmo. Then it was dropping charges on the confessed U.S.S. Cole bomber. Then it was the closed door meeting with the families of the U.S.S. Cole members to explain why he freed the terrorist. Now he wants to reach out to the Taliban.

Maybe the Taliban was the missing link to the unanswered funds of his campaign. Call me a radical, but the black Jesus shows not interest in fighting terrorism. He may not condone it, but he sure as heck is not trying to stop it.

We have a President? A real true honest, upstanding, heroic, President?
Here I was thinking we got stuck with a guy who got in because McCain lost the election.

Bomahood ain't my leader. I am winging it on my own. If he does do anything, it will be wrong.

Doesn't matter what you call him or what you think of him. The Republic doesn't revolve around you. He is the president.

Not only are there things going on behind the scenes that you likely would not understand, but we also don't always have a viable choice on policy issues like this. Cruise missiles, Hellfires, and ignorance will only get us so far before we run into a wall (which we have).

The fact that so many people in Afghanistan and Pakistan recognize the legitimacy of the Taliban makes it impossible for us not to.

Shutting down gitmo was totally justified...... those people were thrown in prison and never sent to trial....which our constitution states must happen, they have to be tried, and proven guilty to be put in prison. You are innocent until proven guilty.

BTW.... Clinton did a much better job with this country than your so called conservative.

Yep, American citizens are innocent until proven guilty...last I checked terrorists picked up on the battlefield in foreign countries aren't Americans...

So Mr.Wizard, where should all the Gitmo prisoners go?

Maybe in time these things will come to light.

But more likelylike clintoon - instead of chargeing him with real crimes liketreason, bribery, corrupt etc- We will get a media madesoap show/opera distraction/dodge from the real issues & crimes going on behind the pictures we are showen.

I would expect nothing less.

Jeep, you have to prove they are terrorists or commited a crime. One may have saw them commit a crime, but they must be proven guilty in the court of law.

What should we do with them? Personally, I think alcatraz should be opened again ( like that will ever happen, though it would be cool ), where they will sit and wait for their turn in the court system. But, if the so called "terrorists" have not commited a crime against America or an American, they should sent to the country to where or who it was commited on. Simple as that.... gitmo was not closed just because of this problem.
