Is it Michael Steele, Rush Limbaugh or none of the above?
It has been hilarious these last several weeks watching the party of overweight balding rich white Christian men tear itself apart.
Michael Steele, newly minted RNC chair, is being crushed from both directions byone wing of the party that actually wants to win elections by becomingless regressiveand get enough votes to win the middle of the political spectrum, and the rabid, Rush Limbaugh wing that wants to implodethe party by becoming MORE conservative and ideologically rigid (which the country just roundly rejected in the lasttwo trouncings at the ballot box)by pandering to the 25% TOPS of the electorate that wants to firebomb Obama's agenda and take the country down with them. How there is even an argument about which way to go...i.e one way that leads to winning elections, another that leads to the GOP becoming a regional, southern party...is beyond me.
The GOP is finally going to pay the price for that blabbermouth Limbaugh. He has no agenda whatsoever other than to further fill his pockets with money and he will do that by creating controversy. He could care less if the Republican party goes down in flames in the meantime.
But they're all so afraid of him because of the podium he has, so Steele backs off from his comments about LImbaugh and, more or less, turns the party over to 'ol Rush. You have a supposed major political party deferring to an entertainer for direction.

RE: Who runs the GOP?
Limbaugh a leader of the Republican party. LMAO. He is anentertainer. A pontificator at best. I guess Bill Maher is a leader in the Democrat party.
You do realize these are normal cycles? The Demos were right where the Republicans are now, when Clinton left office. The mindless masses jump on band waggons. They always hate who was in power. Lets face it, the masses are very uneducated. Prof of such is in who is running the country into the ****ter right now.

RE: Who runs the GOP?
FYI
Who was the last leader to pull the country out of a time similar to what we are seeing????? Give you a hint; His first name was Ronald and his last name was Reagan.
Also, Why did we experience 25 years of growth after that? Because he did the exact opposite of what Obama is doing. Ill be sure to send you a thank you P.M. when your messiah runs the country into the ground. Oh wait, you wont have a computer. None of us will. Were going to have to hock them to buy food. Hell, we wont be able to afford the electricity to run a computer with.

RE: Who runs the GOP?
Oh yea. I guess this is my daily going off, but are you seriously supporting all the crooks in the Obama administration. If Bush would have had as many crooks, there would have been a fireing squad waiting at his door. Lets be for real. How many of Bush's nominations either had to pay back taxes, or simply decline because of investigations? Obama's pics are either crooks or retards. Either do not pay there taxes, or to stupid to do it. The other just flat out are crooks. Either way, that is your beloved leader for you.[:'(]

LOL Tell me where you got the idea that people were voting against conservatism? Theres been none for the last 8 years...neocons and dems are one and the same.
Lol. This is one of my favorites from the last two election cycles.
'Americans didn't vote against the failures of conservatism, because Bush isn't a REAL conservative. Once we get a REAL conservative, everything will be just fine.'
Give me a break. Communists have said the same thing for years about the failure of Communism.
Aside from that, why did all the supposed REAL conservatives dominating congress line up and vote 95% of the time for his lame-brained agenda? Are they not REAL conservatives, either?
That's the bitch about holding huge majorities for years and years, no matter what the party finds politically expedient at the time, there's something over that long stretch of time that contradicts the current position. Which makes for instant hypocrisy.
That's the GOP's biggest dilemna right now, they've tied themselves so tight up in ideological knots that they can't even move. Plus, being the regressive party to being with, they struggle very badly with changing to meet the times.
Give me a break. Communists have said the same thing for years about the failure of Communism.
Well, now that you and the rest of the idiots of America voted for Obamacide I guess we'll see...

What was the point of the 'Ronald Reagan is my hero...Obama is corrupt' rant? You are surely more comfortable dealing with those topics, but I have to assume you were trying to tie it all together...somehow?
Or were you just trying to change from an uncomfortable subject?
I never said nor implied that I am 100% on board with Obama. However, I will happily watch the GOP go down in flames, sweep up the ashes and toss them into the dustbin of history where they belong.
Jeepkid,
Oh! I see! You're saying Obama's a Communist! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! That's really funny! And original!
