Good one. It's the samething when you read a scandal with an R rather than a D next to the name. When it's an R it's repeated over and over. If it's a D it's buried in the back of the story if mentioned at all.

True. But is that a reflection of what our society wants, or is it what the media wants. I believe Fox news is the highest rated of the cable news networks. That makes one kind of think its the media and not the masses. Even at that, its not a really an indication of such. Just an indication of the trend among those who watch cable news.

It's not true, just ribbing my buddy fm. Controling the media is not what "freedom of the press" was intended to be. For some reason people who adopted the term never thought the press would be anything but objective, I don't get it since they were very familar with history. They also had restriction on women for same reasons. It aint sexist if it's true.
I guess they felt that people would be smart enough to know when they were being sold a bill of goods and lets face it, could they have in their wildest dreams seen the technoligy we have today for getting it out? In a way they had the advantage, people of their day had a little time to mull something over before being hit with the next thing.
Still people do know right from wrong and are in control of what enters their mind. And for anybody who is confused about what they should dwell on there is a praticle book that does tell man in simple terms what they should let in and conversly not. It's so easy to find I'm not going to say where it is.
