Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default R.I.P. Republican Party

Michael Steele is about as conservative as Bill Clinton. It looks like the neocons have finally completely taken over. After hearing Steele dismiss Rush Limbaugh's CPAC keynote speech its obvious that true conservatives are no longer Republican... The Repubs and Dems have now pretty much merged...its all falling in place..

To correct you. The Republicans have moved left, to left of center. Democrats have moved so far left they are off the charts. But I agree, there are very few conservatives left.

Sad thing, this is a reflection on the direction of the nation. We vote these people in, so it reflects what the majority wants. I think Jefferson assumption on a democracy is true and we are seeing the end of the last true democracy. Better start looking into how things work in France, we are headed that way. Only difference, we wont have the energy they do.[:@]

Perfect time for a new party. More and more people I talk to have described the kind they want without knowing they're pretty much describing an Amish party.

Well Doe Dumper, I think you are correct. I can't even think of anyone that I could really get behind in the Republican party. Maybe the last one was the guy that people thought Goldwater was. A lunatic right wing sort of guy. I wish we had him back.

I still miss Goldwater. He may have been the last guy in congress who had any common sense.
