Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default I can solve the US debt

Tax churches

I'd bet that would pay off the entire US debt in ..... 5 years tops

The cash cow that is organized religion is truly something to behold - isn't it about time we tapped into that and taxed the dog out of it ?

I don't see why not....there is no official 'separation of church and state' in either the constitution or bill of rights, so as long as the CHURCH lives inside the STATE, why not be taxed ? I'd not do so, though, because these parasitic democrats would do this IN ADDITION to all the other taxes they're wet-dreaming of. What do you think the proposed 7% decrease in mortgage interest tax credit is going to do to the housing market ?
These empty-headed skunks are ruining the country in leaps and bounds. Where's the bottom ?

I'd say, to be fair, tax all nonprofits.

I say just tax names made up for HNI.com for serial posting.

Why not cut spending back to Constitutional levels? Why do we accept a government out of control. One that has over stepped the powers we grant them? Cut the Federal government now back 3/4's? I use to say 2/3rds but Obama has been on a 30 day spending spree.

If we only spent money on what the Constitution says we should, our country would be terrible... oh wait, it's terrible right now.

Why do we accept an out of control government ? What are our options, now that the so-called majority
has opted to destroy all that is uniquely American ? We have 4 choices:
a: we can vote (if we are a minority, we will fail)
b: we can write letters (why would those opposed to our way of life pay heed to the scribblings of the
minority ?)
c: we can make war (if we are a minority, we will fail...if we cannot fight the modern military we will lose)
d: we can leave (where would we go, where we would not be further victimized by the same sort of
corrupt cadre, just speaking a different language ?)

I think we're in it for the ride....

I voted Chuck Baldwin this year, I TRIED to make a difference.

As for the taxations .... if money comes in, its calle IN COME and should be taxed like everything and everyone else is. Non-profit is a scam, especially churches, there is a HUGE ammount of money made and spent in churches.

I can only hazard the $$$$$$ brought in by the big churches - enough to pay Obama's mortgage of my child's future, that much i'm confident in []

This is true of most non profits. There is no "especially" about it.

You did make a difference. Your vote was a protest vote. You didn't like the "conservative" (gosh that's hard to type) candidate, so you chose to vote for one that had no chance of winning, thus helping Obama get the victory. The effect of your vote is to help the country learn from its mistakes, but that lesson will take years.
