Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Jindal GOP rebuttal

I was anxious to listen to Jindal speak last night, only to be let down. His message was pretty clearabout the fundamental differences between R plan and D plan for recovery, it's justI feel he came offweak and hokey, and was actually painful to watch...I think he's capable of so much more.

Heck, Rick Santelli would have been a stronger candidate for the rebuttal....no?

Most minority party rebuttals I've seen have been pathetic. It's just a waste of time.

He said the obvious. He is making the stand for the New Republican party. Opps I mean a move back to the old. Not much he could really do. From this point on, the Republicans have nothing but talking points. The Republicans hold no power, so all we will get from the Republicans is campaigning for the next election and to try to build a new (the old) front. Which is exactly what they need to do. They moved left with Bush, they need to move a bit back to the right. That way when all this bailout crap hits the fan, they will be primed and ready to move on the shift of power. It"™s just normal political ebb and flow.
