He said the obvious. He is making the stand for the New Republican party. Opps I mean a move back to the old. Not much he could really do. From this point on, the Republicans have nothing but talking points. The Republicans hold no power, so all we will get from the Republicans is campaigning for the next election and to try to build a new (the old) front. Which is exactly what they need to do. They moved left with Bush, they need to move a bit back to the right. That way when all this bailout crap hits the fan, they will be primed and ready to move on the shift of power. It"™s just normal political ebb and flow.
