How, when the money ends up in Hamas's hands not the individuals hand?

Come on, FM, there are strings attached, not to mention oversight. Hamas runs the territorial government, but they're not the only ones vying for control. Even Fatah still exists in Gaza, albeit in hiding.

It doesn't even go directly there. It first get's washed and a big cut taken off the top by the corrupt UN Org. So the money is coming from the UN not the US in their eyes.

Gazans probably spend more time watching CNN than Americans. I would bet on it. They may disagree with Israel most of the time and Washington much of the time, but they're not ignorant people. And we will make sure they know where what's coming from.

It begins by defeating terrorism not funding it like Obama is now getting ready to do. Hamas is our enemy, the number one terror org in the world and now the US has folded to them. It's a very sad day in /america. We use to stand for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.[:@]

Well, if you've got another millennium to defeat terrorism, I wish you luck. I've been calling for greater humanitarian andtechnological support to Gaza since Bush was in office. They'll never love us. But it would still be nice if they didn't hate us. Israel doesn't give a damn about peace as long as it gets its way. Whether the West (mostly Britain) accepts any responsibility for the creation of Israel or not, the US still pours several billion dollars a year into that country. That really pisses Palestinians off. They know we have the power to influence Israel, and we rarely use it.
Hamas wants us destroyed and vice versa. But they're Tel Aviv's problem. What do you want to do, send troops into Gaza? We're not dropping the ball on those Arschlöcher. What we're doing is making sure civilians are being fed and medicated. It really does suck there. Even some of Hamas' former supporters and saying that they're not doing enough. It's near-starvation forthousands, and the hospitals are in a pitiful shape today. Lives you save in the streets are just as important as lives you destroy on the battlefield. That's the way war goes nowadays.
