Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

"The biggest thing I see here is the incredible pessimism," Springer said. "The government is doing a lousy job of alleviating fears."

Obama scare tactics comeing to bite him? Obama over playing the problems so he can be the hero in the end? Or are all the "scare tactic" folks just bashing Obama?

The complete negativity that Obama is talking makes me believe that he wants the markets to fall as far as they will as soon as possible. Then, that much more of it falls on Bush's shoulders. Nothing else makes sense. He obviously has a lot of advisors and he knows the affect of what he is saying.

I thinks it the other way around, Wall Street is listening to what he is proposing and reacting accordingly, I don't think they are listening to his fear mongering.

His days to blame Bush were over when he begged and got his big pork bill through. This is now on him and even a complete idiot could see that it's osama's baby now.

...and may he go over the cliff like his policies are taking us. If you go on youtube, you can pull up video(s) of his bashing the politics of fear. Now he'sdoing it himself like it's second nature to him. Does changing your campaign position count as "change?"

I don't think Obama gives a wit about the stock market. In fact, I will go as far to say he is talking it down on purpose. If this is not a perfect storm, he is trying to make sure it becomes (stays)one, and he has to be thrilled everybody is looking to government for help. He wants them begging. This is the anti-capitalist, socialist dream.

He has done absolutely nothing to give any confidence to investors. We have the 'pork bill,' the 'we'll take care of your mortgage bill', and we haven't even socialized the heath industry yet. He comes out yesterday, and says he is going to cut the deficit in half in 5 years. You think that idiotic declaration wasn't planned. He is just reminding investors, and people who might be wondering when to jump back in that he has them targeted to pay for all of this.

This is an all out war on capitalism (freedom), and I think the peoplewaging it have had along time to dream about it and now they arefighting it with organized precision.

What is the use in being a socialist if you can't act like one? They think they have been given full license to live out their dream.

This is a libbyorgy. They are not going to letWall Street ruinthat.

I don't think it's got anything to do with Obama. It's more that AIG is right on the verge of declaring bankruptcy and they are a central player in credit default swaps. They're all freaking out.

Don't you guys ever read the newspapers or is it just more fun to blame everything from ingrown toenails to extinction events on Obama?

Yep, allthe Obamaphobes had nothing to say when the market tanked on the watch of Wya The Great. All the Republicans in congress are whining that things are not going to get any better. This is talking down the market. Some of them are hoping out loud that the economy will not improve.

Why do we need AIG, when the government is taking care of all the credit defaults?
