Go to your state, filter around (I especially like the # of jobs created filter) and lets just see what Obama has charged to the future of this country, shall we ?
The intent of this thread is to absolutely baffle our minds at how the current administration is handling this country, a facts based bitch seesion.

Now, my normal spring/summer/fall day work day is 5am-4pm ... 10 hour shift with 1 hour in which I run or bike the river trail, shower, and back to work. I love it. Its a great asset to the community. It is NOT something that the United States taxpayers should be responsible for though, its the community itsself, the city, county and state ! Best of all ? 15 million dollars and not one single job created.

There is a common trend ........ streets/roadways/traffic lights are being replaced/repaird and sewer systems/water systems too. Good things to have, however, is it the Federal Govt's responsibility? Should it be my tax dollars going to replace sewer systems in FL ?

Neither my town, township or County is represented in this NJ table.
It seems that all the 'parasite districts' are more than amply represented
with 261 projects being funded:
Newark, Orange, Irvington, Trenton, etc.
Most of the jobs there are deemed NOT CRITICAL, and I question the number of jobs;
does this number represent the number of warm bodies to be thrown at the project,
or does this number represent NEW HIRES to complete the job in addition to those guys
already working on the project ? I would think the former....how many of those laid-off
IT guys do you think will be working on that 20million dollar/50 job road safety improvement
program in Edison NJ ?

It seems the entire $185,815,080 will be used in exactly 2 cities in Iowa, Des Moines and Davenport and Davenport is only getting money for 6 of the 51 projects proposed.
Apparently the rest of the state can go suck it as far as the capital is concerned.
Further many, actually most of these projects are either seasonal, or very short termmeaning the people hired for them will be on unemployment again very soon, that is if anyones actually hired since most of these can be accomplished with the existing workforce because they dont take that much manpower to complete.

It seems, then, that instead of whining on a website, you should be lobbying your representatives to not accept the stimulus money that your districts and states obviously don't need since this is all a big "waste."
None of the Regressive party's reps seem to have the stones to step up and do so.
Let's take and put the money not only where it's needed, but where it's wanted.
This obstructionism and becoming the party of "No" with no ideas is going to cost the R's dearly in the midterms.
The Regressive party is well on it's way to becoming a regional, white Southern party.

Tell you what ... when the Dems start paying higher taxes (to fit their ideology) than everyone else, then everyone else can give back the stimulus money. Of course, Ohio is run by dems, so nobody will do the right things here.
