Let me get this straight. He racks up a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit his first few days in office. He claims he's still not done spending by annoucing another 275 billion to reward people forbeing irresponsibleby notpaying their mortgages. BTW details will be forthcoming. Now he annouces he will try to cut his spending in half be 2013? That's four years away and about another 5 trillion dollars. Me thinks his hand will be forced sooner than that. Can't wait until 2010 elections.

It's easier to say you will cut the deficit thanactually doing it, especially for Obama and company. Also, it's easier to plan cuts that will take effectafter your term is up. Sounds like hot air to me.
