History, the very mention of it puts most of us to day dreaming or asleep, a sad commentary on those that are charged with teaching it because it is a subject that has the ability to make it"™s recipients live like they never have before, with eyes wide open.

The problem with starting to enjoy history is where to start, I think I can help. I think the solution is to start with short accounts that are packed with life to wet the appetite causing the reader to want to know more about a subject. Fortunately for us there are several books that can do just that and one I"™d like to recommend. It has a twist which makes it perfect, the accounts covering many decades and peoples are actual eye witness accounts "œin living color"�. "œEyewitness to History"�, written by John Carey and published by Harvard Press, 1987 is the book I recommend.

Find the book and read it at what ever pace you decide, it will led to living a complete life, not one tossed and turned this way and that by which ever way the winds blowing. I'm confident the book will dictate the pace and it will be rapid.
