Default NC considering life style charges for healthcare.

NC is considering charging those who smoke and are fat, over 35% body mass, more each year for healthcare. My question is, if they are going to single out these folks and begin to create different life style class, why not include the homosexuals? If anyone is in a high riskbehaivor group they are.

Lardasses outnumber fruitloops by a significant amount. Besides, while homosexual men tend to risk contracting various disgusting friggin' diseases, it needs to beabout the disease, not the risk. Charge gays after they've got something. Just like you charge the obese after they're obese. This sounds likea good start.

Hey aught, this has all to do about the risk factor. Gays are in a high risk group. Not all fat butts cost more in insurance.

I think obesity is a disease. It needs to be eradicated. The more you charge for healthcare, the less there is left for Hot Pockets and milkshakes.

Who or what is "NC?" North Carolina? Please explain.

And not all smokers die of cancer...but your argument is very weak. I think you know that too.

While I appreciate your humor, the comment itself is almost leftist in nature. Like saying, "We should have higher fuel prices...it encourages rationing."

I tolerate a lot of people and things that I find to be stupid, but I've just about had it with the obese. It's really getting old. And I'm tired of the visualpollution. We're becoming the United States of Lipideria.

The'abuse' of food is truly disgusting, more so now than ever...

Yes and I would agree with that as much as I would agree smokers and obese tend to die early and therefore are less of a burden on the healthcare system. What upsets me is the singling out of life styles and then completely ignorethe high risk catagory of homosexuals.

This is beause it is not politically correct.

If you want to hear something very concerning listen to the following sermon (listening, downloading MP3, and transcript are free). This was given about three years ago by Dr. MacArthur. Dr MacArthur had been saying this for a long time, and he finally did a sermon on the topic. ALL sin has consequences.
