Here comes the economic downturn in my county...
Well the CXO of the county government in which I work sent his proposed budget to the County Board Members yesterday. He is suggesting that all county employees have their salaries frozen for the next 5 years. He is also suggesting that we all incur a 1% salary decrease this year and possibly for years to come. My wife and I are F'ed.
On a side note, one of my good friends called me today and told me he was laid off work. Here it comes....the tides of change.
