Can't find the info

I thought I had read a post here with someone stating that only 3% of the "spendulus" would be spent this year.

Can anyone point me to the thread or have any info on this statement?

If you scroll down a ways there is a seperate graph of the spending per year.

Keep in mind that I am not sure that is the final Stimulus Package that Pres. Obama signed. If I am not mistaken the senate made some changes to the final money grab total.

I am not seeing the 3% on the graph. I think jeepkid made a reference to it a week or so back. But it seems that there were several others that made the statement also.

I made a casual comment about the 3% being spent this year and got called on it. Now I need my backup!! lol ......damned facts and figures!

I heard the same thing on the TV news. Can't recall just when it was but it could be true. The wheels turn slow when you have to print tons of new money. This is still trickle down economy but now it trickles from the Government instead of the private sector. Therein lays the real danger. There are always strings attached. At best this bill is just borrowing from the peoples future because WE are the only source the Government has for money. They will take it from us and we will have to pay it back.

Yeah, that was me. I've saw it on the TV news a few times, and I think the internet. I'll see if I can find a link.

I'm pretty sure it was the Congressional Budget Office that reported it...
