Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default tips from ya'll on how to survive the next decade

I think its an almost guarantee that we're going to see, in the next decade, incredible debt, devaluation of the dollar, high inflation etc.

Assuming that is going to happen, right now, what can we do to best prepare our families?

Invest in these low stocks now? Pay off your debt first and foremost? Put your money in a mattress? Buy things? Refinance and cash back as much as you can at these low 4 3/4 % interest rates?

I don't remember the huge inflation and impact of the past - what are we in for ?

If you think the latter is going to accure why would you put your money in a mattress? Better off buying precios metals wouldn't you?

Move to Brazil or go overthrow the scumbags in Washington and start over...

Plant an 'herb garden' and buy a bong. That's how we got through the 70's.

If you really think things are going to happen as you say, put your investments into things that will keep up w/ inflation. IE Hard assets. I like gold and land. Stock up on guns and ammuntion now.

Getting cash out at the low rates is not a bad idea, itsrisky butcould pay off huge. Say you can get 100k out of your house, and turn that into gold/land.When the stuffhits the fan and we starthyper-inflation your debt will become meaningless because its fixed.you'll owe the same amount of dollars thatare worth less... so you owe less real dollars. On the other hand if we keep deflating, you're screwed.

Just wondering, how old you really are? I'm guessing Junior High age or so? A grown man could not spout off the crap that you do.

Jr. high? Might be right. He has moved from, "you doo doo head" to, "I know you are, what am I". So Jr. high, might be right.
