Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Lower the bar on the stimulus package????

I have been reading the stinkulus package and I see this quote on every site, "Obama economics adviser Larry Summers cautioned against raising expectations too high."

So let me get this right,

1st; We must pass this or planes will fall from the sky and dogs and cats will start sleeping with each other.

2nd; This is the only thing that can save us.

3rd; Only government can save us.

And with that said, they tell us; Oh, by the way, dont expect too much?

What the frank? I would love to hear a doctor tell me, "the only way you will live is to have a surgery. I am the only one who can do the surgery.But dont raise your expectations of my skills too high".

Default RE: Lower the bar on the stimulus package????

Because it's been exposed too much, even though the BHO administration has started out lying like crazy. What happened to "transparency" and "bipartisanship"? Pushing it through in the middle of the night behind closed doors where no Republican was allowed is really upholding campaign promises. Wasn't there something mentioned about bills being published on a web site for 5 days or so before they were voted on?

Anyway.......they know it's not going to stimulate the economy. It's a huge payback/kickback to supporters, and a chance for the Dems to repay gobs of favors at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer.

When the broadcast says "3 million jobs lost this quarter" the BHO sheeple will say "See--it's working! If it hadn't passed, we would have lost 8 million jobs!".

Even with Catipillar being a recipient of some bailout funds, 1,400 Cat workers lobbied against it--none lobbied for it. Go figure.

Chad
On that same note;

How does Catipillarknow what their buisness will be. How do they know their buisness will improve to the point of needing more workers? I questioned that last night when i heard it on the news.

Maybe they knew they have been over producing. Like cars, RV's to name a couple more products with huge inventories, we in north america have been greating an oversupply of goods for the domestic markets. Does an RV dealer really need an inventory of hundreds of RV's on a lot?

you get the idea. right?
