Default defend the stimulus package - can anyone ?

Can anyone ? I've read all I can get my hand on and from all I can tell? Its a government spending bill that doesn't help people to amount to anything. It might generate some short term jobs, jobs that are busy work improving govt buildings, computer systems etc .... many pet projects that are just incredulous and for the average blue collar family a $15 a week stimulus?

Seriously that's all 800 billion can buy?

I will defend it. We are now entering a time of progress for america. The stimulus was not planned, but a positive crank start to an economy that has been picked clean by rich republican rule. The war on the middle class is slowlycomming to an end. The stimulus was forced to happen, it was not in Obama's plan during the campaign, although it has become a way out of the downword spiral brought on by the deregulation, bush tax cuts, banking theives, and bush spending. The tax cuts for the rich are now over, Obama had to delay his tax cut plan because of this economic catastophe. I beleave that now, state by state the party will decintegrate, as therepublican party continue to follow the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Shaun Hannity. Americans will eventually get back the control of the federal court system, Raise wages, lower taxes, balance the budget and raise up the oppressed middle class.

Well you have obviously read it. We all know you wouldn't give such a great review of the plan without reading it. Could you provide a link for us all to be able to read the final version.

It is easy to defend because it is Obama's will. Are you going to argue against the will of someone who is JFK, MLK, and JHC all wrapped up in one?[:-]

Sorry, I always try to keep my jabs short and sweet, But I have got to address this. "deregulation". I will admit Bush should have had balls and stopped it, but how started it???? educate yourself and quit spouting talking points. The campaign has ended. Obama has got to do his job, before you all can start campaigning for the next term. This is not the senate, he really has to show up and work.

Tax cuts for the rich???? Please, again educate yourself. Look where the economy was, and where it went with those tax cuts. Besides, I didn"™t know I was rich, I benefited from the tax cuts.

America get back controle of the court system? What the frank? If you have not noticed, government has just grown faster than ever before. i blame part on Bush, but Obama has taken the ball and run with it. Only person who will be controling the court system will be big government. Which will be handed them by the liberal soon to follow.[:'(]

Just one final question; Who are you going to blame when all this falls apart? What are you going to tell your kids/grandkids when they are stuck with this crap sandwich you Daddy Obama is forcing them to eat?

I really wish I had what you are on. It has got to be a new form of ecstasy. I guess I need to make the Rave rounds and see if I can score some. Id love to be dumb and happy right about now.

It really is very sad how uninformed you really are. You have been spoon fed a lot of crap. You don't know what's in the bill. The middle class only gets $13 more/week for a short while before it drops to $8/week. Then they get a massive tax increase come 2011 of $2500. You call the Republicans only looking out for the rich however, Republicans overwhelmingly are the party representing the poor. The rich's folks in society all have Dem's for their representation in congress. Oh and BTW, the Dems are the richest of them all in congress, go figure.[:-]
