Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Obama where art thou?

If a Republican was in office we'd be catching hell right now as conservatives but Obama gets a free pass on a failing economy ... why ?

Well, the housing crisis is looking better and the jobless claims were lower than Obama had said they would be. So I guess the stimulus is working,,,,,,,,,

Wait a min.? Obama's stimulus plan is still getting voted in.

So where does everyone think the markets are going? Let's just say take a stab at the low for the Dow and S&P. I have my 401k ready to move back over into stocks. I had been thinking a Dow of around 7500, but as things continue to go the way they are, I am starting to think somewhere in the range of 6500 to 7000.

Like I said, it's a buying opportunity!!!

I never took anything out of my 401s. I have been investing a little more, now that the market is about bottomed out. When it bounces back, i should be in good shape. Last time it went down, I did pretty well with the bounce back.

-208.91(-2.63%)Dow 7,730.62

the bottom for the DOW is 0.00 do not EVER think you're smarter than the markets, please fully realize that it CAN go lower, much lower

channels are one thing and false bottoms are another

I do think its not going to go much lower, but I'm an optimist and cautiously investing a bit at a time. IF we are at a bottom, if in a decade the DOW is at 15,000 we will all look back and see this as one of the few Golden moments in our lifetimes to make fortunes.

Very true. Exactly what I am banking on. With that said, I am by no means putting all my eggs in a 401 basket. It is just part of my retirement.
