Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Ginsburg and the Supreme Court

I'm sure many of you have heard about Justice Ginsburgs condition. As we new during the Presidential race....The next President could possiblyappoint 2 maybe 3 new justices to the bench.Well here it is....The Heller decision was major. But as we know it was narrow 5-4decision. EDIT...There is an interesting read on Town Hall about "stepping stones" to the bench and who may be next in line.

I won't go into how incredibly inept I think President Obama has been in the last couple of weeks. His inexpereience leading or makingREAL decisions shows. But most of you probably own firearms and some voted for Obama.
Do you think your2nd Amendment rights are safe now........I certainly don't and I'm not sure that our rights in general are safe.

P.S....Today the Senate voted to approve the Pork with extra gravy bill. One of the main opponents was J.Mcain. Obama hasn't changed a thing (see Clinton White House) Did the best guy really win???
By the way NancyPelosi makes me[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:@][:@][:'(]

You might want to check again. Ginsburg was one of the four morons who voted against the individual rights interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. It amazes me that halfwits like Souter, Breyer, Ginsburg and Stevens, who apparently are unable to read and comprehend the English language, are able to reach the Supreme Court.

That being said, it won't hurt too terribly much if Obama replaces Ginsburg with a liberal. It's when he replaces a conservative, one of the five rational members of the Court (Alito, Roberts, Scalia, Kennedy and Thomas), that the 2nd Amendment will face extreme danger.

His judge, when he appoint her, will be anti gun. It could well could be bill clinton, but I think he has to replace her with a woman, probably a black woman or other minotity maybe a Arab.

Race, gender, religion or national origin will not matter. Their personal POLITICS will be the litmus
test for appointment...and that will be anti-gun, pro-abortion, pro-big-government, anti-capitalist.

OOOpppss........Me of cloudy mind and Miller Lite. Edited. Reading the news will make a man drinkYou're right that it may not be so bad the first time around. But with possibly 2 more appiontments things could get ugly and how these appointees will legislte from the bench will bethe determining factor for their nomination. Obama was aConstitutional
law professor I'm sure he will nominate someone that abide by the Constitution right??
We certainly can't count on the GOP senators to have our back. They'll flip just like they did on the spending bill. Obama was a WAY better choice than Mcain[:-]
