Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Still think Bush won't go down as a great president?

Sen. Leahy proposes truth panel on Bush policies
Why would these folks set up this committee and all the others to go back and investigate the Bush administration? It's because they are worried. They need to tarnish his reputation because they know he will be seen as a great president.

Just like Carville wrote the letter to the Dems on how to distroy Bush after 9/11. These guy are looking for an encore.

Ken Blackwell was on local radio, and he didn't name any names, but he said that recent Republicans have "Run like Reagan, and governed like Carter."

Domestically, that fits Bush, IMO.

I don't entirely disagree with you. I've got a lot of issues with Bush. But, Leahy calling for a "Truth Panel" is just too much like the Ministries of Truth, Peace, Love and Plenty from 1984...

Read a little George Orwell, or Ayn Rand. We're there...

Maybe the first thing they should do is explain why the prince appointed a tax cheat and thief to head up the Department of treasurer. This was against EVERYTHING THAT HE SAID HE WAS AGAINST The greatest case of direct hypocrisy ever seen in government. Really Now was there any excuse on this planet to pull that move? Were there not honest qualified people that he could have brought in? I ask this as a serious question to his damn few supporters here. I want to know why if he pulls this crap, that the Dems have any room to throw stones?

His appointees finished it for me, he made himself and his administration just a big bad joke. Even his supporters in the liberal press were totally disgusted by this hypocrite.

What did Bush do that was particulary good (let alone outstanding), again????

there is propbably no need for any "truth committee" nor is there ANYONE IN WASHINGTON fit to serve on it, but let's not go crazy and call Bush great...even if your speaking relatively...its still a stretch.

GW's legacy is Iraq and a country diving head first into a recession and he was directly responsible for both.

Sorry, GW is one of the sorriest of all time
