hey, he is the commander and chief of YOUR country. Regardless of whether you agree with him or not, that's not going to change. Can't hurt to be informed.

Oh, I'm sorry. I must have fallen asleep and missed the inauguration. And I read transcripts. Reading is the best way to stay informed. TV is for the masses.

I thought he dis a good job of explaining what his intentions are. He seemed to be very focussed and straight forward.

He did well - his answers were quick when needed, lengthy and detailed on the important stuff, his opening was very forceful and made a person really think about our country's situation.

And in the end, he came across more socialist than ever.

Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal opportunities for all individuals with a fair or egalitarian method of compensation.

After this package, when the 4 million jobs of rebuilding some roads, revamping some federal buildings and renovating some schools are done ....... and 1 trillion is spent doing it ....... then what ?

He admitted there is no long term plan yet. He admitted taxes will HAVE to increase - but only on the upper class. He said all this might not work, guaranteed some of it will.

I actually found myself liking the man - I just hate everything he stands for

There are plenty of sheeple out there to watch the bum, I wouldn't listen to him if they paid me. My stomach could never handle it. Thanks for the heads up though I would have hated to flip to that channel and collide with stupidity.[:'(]
