Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

And what would you prefer? More tax cuts for CEO's who created this mess in the first place? More individual tax cuts even though the tax base is shrinking at a furious pace because unemployment is rising like a phoenix? Maybe we should just print more money and turn it out there, it worked so well for Germany. Perhaps we should just let the banking industry fail, that would be good eh?

Put down your headphones and turn Rush off. He is a junkie and goes to the Dominican Republic with two pottles of black market Viagra, you don't need to know anymore than that. Bush and the Wall Street fat cats made this gigantic mess and Obama is trying something, anything, to get jobs, credit, and money flowing again. Give the man a break, at least he is trying instead of sitting on his butt like G.W. did the last two months in office leaving this mess for Obama to clean up.

Yeah, tax cuts sound pretty good. Central economic planning has never worked well historically. I'm not holding my breath this time around. In other words, **** big government. They're no better than the most manipulative CEO out there.

Actually, I was just listening to some left-wing anarchist hardcore from the early 80's.

Only 3% of the "spending package" will be spent this year...so whats the hurry???

The version of the Senate bill on the Library of Congress' site is dated January 30th. Frankly, I don't feel like going through all of it right this minute, particularly if it's going to be amended againanyway.

This is the hurry!

And all of the top economists say tax cuts will do little to nothing to ease the pain of this recession!

Those same people also say the "spending package" will do nothing, at most it will make things worse...

So again, only 3% will be spent this year...why the hurry?

I don't understand why the millions of (now has-been) workers who clung to their jobs in failing companies (industries!) don't get the blame they deserve. There is no right to employment in this country. Yeah, the economy is rough right now. That's why I don't give a damn about giving my taxes to bail out these losers. I could use my money for myself, you know...
