Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

In my wildest dreams, as much as I dislike this waste, I never dreamed that he would be as bad as it appears that he will be. He has surpassed with ease my worse nightmare's. Way to go twinkle dumb. It's a good thing that I expected nothing for him and this growing group of clowns and criminals that he is surrounding himself with. I guess from his past associations, I should have expected that trend to continue.[&o][:'(][][>:]

I see on Drudge a report from the CBO stating that the stimulus package is worse than doing nothing. It may work in the short term, at a cost of $300,000 per new job, but will be much worse for the economy in the debt we are taking on to fund it, which will crowd out private investment. Obama doesn't care about effects in a few years, all he cares about is power and rewarding his cronies for electing him. BTW, I also heard that only 8% of the stimulus will be spent this year. Kinda undermines the fear tactics to get it passed ASAP, hunh?

Why? Is this a change of course or is it just the speed that troubles you?

(I didn't see anything in the link provided about 7th grade girls, just more spending talk)

Well, keep on hoping....it does not look that the dems have the votes to pass this thru the Senate.
This is troubling...if the Dummocrats can't even align to pass THEIR OWN BILL, it's gotta be a stinker.
The other trouble sign I see, is the conniptions everybody had when not one republican and 11 democrats
refused to support the bill in the house....now, they had the votes, and the bill passed, but why the big
stinky when repubs refused to have anything to do with it ? Is it that, when this bill breaks this country's back and destroys that which is merely stumbling now, the repubs will be able to say that skunk of a porkbarrel bill was 100% partisan democrat pork and people will know where to point their fingers. Why
is it so important for the republicans to support something they are fundamentally opposed to, especially when they've been locked out of the committees which actually produced the spending bill ?

No, i'm not hopeful. This is just a shopping-bag full of scumbag liberal social engineering and porkbarrel wishlist spending. It will not help. It will hurt.
