I am thinking...WTF has happened? Gun legislation on the horizon...politicians in power that have promised to do everything they can to kill coal....corruptness at every level..I cant see any way out of the mess the country is in short of electing an entirely new congress and then imposing term limits. Yeah I know...drink another beer and keep dreaming DD...

Well, there MIGHT be a bright spot on the horizon....
With the impending and intentional demise of many of the Bush Doctrine controls and protections
in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, we will be open to another terror attack by some of 'our new friends'
in the Muslim world. It's just possible they could sneak a plane INTO the Capitol building when both houses are in session....we'd NEED a new government then, and the wallflowers, parasites, radicals and criminals currently populating our government will be 'out', regardless of the will of the people.

As fanciful and stupid as that vision of 'change' was, it's no less valid a scenario than the American people
growing a brain and electing a new congress....

Well DD I hope you are saving some of that money to start paying for the taxes and fees for gun registration and redoing them all at your expense if you change addresses plus another five layers of government just to try to keep all the new gun laws enforced. We will need new jails for all the honest criminals that turn in their illegal guns.

Osama might not take our guns but I believe they plan to make owning a gun so tough that it won't be worth it. There is more that one way to overthrow the second amendment. However, it's still treason regardless. I am just looking at the new anti gun laws already introduced and I gotta wonder just how stupid people were to elect this mighty moron to head a nation.

I am finally glad that I am old. I think I lived through the best of it. I see nothing good in the cards for hunters and gun owners, the rat has been turned out of the cage.

I'm just waiting for the government to impose a yearly tax on firearm ownership to pay for all of the gunshot victims that will be enrolled in Obama's new socialized medicine plan. Enjoy the beer while you can, I'm sure a new sin tax on alcohol can't be too far away.

As long as they don't impose it on Diet Mountain Dew, I'm good. I don't drink so I'll be exempt from the alcohol tax...

as far as the gun control thing goes....I can only hope that the democrats who voted for Obamhole
are the first ones whose doors are kicked in and family members brutalized, all in the name of that

Im done with work for today, I think its miller time. Time to put down the news for me. Maybe I can drown the pain of our recent politics.
