Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Graham questions Obama's leadership

What do you think? He makes a good point.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/02/05/graham-says-obama-awol-stimulus-debate/

"President Obama has been "AWOL" in negotiations over the economic stimulus package, Sen. Lindsey Graham said Thursday in a scathing rebuke of the new president.
The South Carolina Republican told FOX News that Obama has not been providing leadership, and he criticized the president for giving TV interviews and writing an editorial touting the package, rather than addressing the complaints of lawmakers."

Obama is crying to the horse that brought him, instead of doing the job the horses hired him to do.

Obama wants his way. It makes more sense to get millions ofvoters to lobby Congress than tolobby Congress himself. The two branches of government have almost always been struggling for power and "leadership" status.

Not that he's not AWOL...

Point made. On the flip side who cares, what's the answer? That will speak louder than any critisim. What we have is one politician pointing a finger at another. Makes me go hohum.

"time for action" What action? Must be a slow news day if this is news. Seems like what we need is a good kindergarden teacher in charge.

The less osama does the better for us, if you do nothing you can do nothing wrong and so far he has not done one thing right IMO.

i have to say i amunhappy withthe stimulus package to date. too much pork, not enough infrastructure. that being said, i thought i read that, at least with respect to the house, POTUS lobbied incessently, and pretty hard, only to bat "0 for republicans".he even had congressional leaders over for cocktails (oh, to be a fly on the wall at that one). i don't see a lack of effort yet, just a disappointing bill

edit:
don't know, this article seems like he's pretty actively working the senate
