It was a great day for millions ofpeasants and peons across thenation.
Of course, for $2 and some change, I was through the McDonald's drive-thru in two minutes (regulations call for a 90 second turn-around, but these people have been idiots for a while, so I've learned to wait).
This give-away coincided with the release of Kwami Kilpatrick from his jail cell in Detroit. Something tells me this is no coincidence. I feel an investigation should be launched.

Well then, let's 'git er done' ! We'll meet over at denny's for some grease-bombs and butter.

You both should be comic writers. Great stuff! That's some funny stuff. Kwami and Denny's, very creative writing there.
I must admit that I stole the Dennys/Kilpatrick connection form a local Detroit long-time DJ, Dick Purtan. Mr. Purtan has been a quality mainstay of Detroit area airtime since the 60's (maybe even earlier for all I know!) and his morning show is chock full of humor with a local twist. One of the morning Purtan characters mentioned the connection between Kwamee's release and the Denny's give-away.... I chortled on my way to work. Mr. Purtan quipped that Kwanee looked like he had had "one too many Grand Slams" in his lifetime.
Anyway, the food given away by Denny's (THE Cholesterol Castle) was a pretty nice gesture, regardless of what it REALLY cost them.
