I call recall when I was younger. The main politlcal topics were the wars, education, health car an energy. I remember when gas went to 68¢ a gallon. Everbody started trying to find ways to save fuel. The gas lines were long an ran out into the streets.
The only connection to the outside world came on with the National Anthem an went the same.

We never locked our doors in our homes or cars. We went to sleep at night total secure with the windows up, with out a worry from intruders.
We watched in the classroom an from work when the challenger lifted off an things went very wrong that morning. But, people honored those brave souls.

We have been through many set backs as a country. We will never forget 9-11 an twin towers an the victims an the heros as they ran up the stairs with an uncertain future to help fellow Americans.
We are now setting with an uncertain future with the economy, goverment is struggling with what needs to be done. We as Americans stand fast an ready to defend America an try to help other countries at our personal cost an at the loss of love ones across this great national in the arm forces. We continue to work or have worked an pay taxes to secure this national's future.
