Yep, he plans on appointing a Republican as Commerce Sec'y. This appointment would give the Demonrats 60 seats in the US senate. Just watchsenator Judd Gregg jump at the bait.

This is why I wanted Obama to appoint D*ck Lugar sec'y of state, and possibly fire him after six months. We know who would appoint a senator to replace him.

I think Gregg is trying to make demands about who would replace him but this type of thing got Blagojevich in dutch!
