Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Can I now be p.o.ed at Obama?

I couldnt even finish the paper this morning. Obama is supporting the union strikes (cough payback, cough 400 million dollars, cough thanks unions). He is gutting defense while allowing congress to give themsleves a raise (cough, thought only Republicans were rich pukes, cough). The first year of stimulus is going to government, (cough pay back for votes, cough thank you suckers, cough). All on your dollar.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/01/30/defense-official-obama-calling-defense-budget-cuts/

The stimulus package is full pay offs for votes in the form of pork. I guess the old saying holds true; To the victor goes the spoils. If I had voted for Obama, id be pissed that he hasnt given my my chunk of the pie.[:@][:@][:@]

Oh yea, Ive been told to give Obama a chance. He has been in office for only two weeks. I dont know how much more of a chance I can give him.

I guess we could insist the over seas abortion clinics we are going to build, have a nice bronze statue of the Anointed one out in the front. We could pump another 20 or 30 million into other countries for that.

burnie you can be p.o.ed whenever you want. How many timesdid you guys ask them to look at things from your perspective and didn't. I watched these guys come on here dayin and day out talking about how Bush ruined this and Bush ruined that. Andyou and I both knew that Bush couldn't have caused this calamity onhis own. And we are now to weeks into having Obama in office andjust like he spends a Trillion. If he keeps it upby the time he has reached his 2 month mark he will have spent what Bush did inwhat 8 years? They are giving money to people who are not financially responsible and are not willing to change their lifestyle because for some reason they act like they areentiltled to it. Welcome to world of Obamanomics. Someone should have told that man that when dealing with money a negative plus anegative still means you are in the red.

I am also highly irratated with all of this bail outnonescense. Quit spending money and tighten up your budget. That's what we all have to do. Josh gets laid off every winter and it's our fault if we don't prepare for that. Not anyone elses. If we can't pay our bills than we need to cut out the extra's and if that still doesn't cover it than we have to sell something. How can they expect "WE the people" to tighten our belt straps when they go on a spending spree so that people can keep the things thatare luxary not necessity.

I just don't get why people can't see this stimulus for what it is. It is gambling. And the stakes are $1 trillion. Where are the people like Bill Gates and Donald Trump when we need our budget worked on.Instead we got these suckers whovoted for a man who said you aren't going to like what I do but just hang in there with me.This reminds me of that movie Pinnochio, where all those boys go to this island thinking that they are going to get an awesome life of ease and whatever they want and then they all get turned into donkeys and put towork for something they didn't want. Well I am not jumping on that band wagon. I will continue to be responsibloe for my actions, and not look to others to bail me out everytime I make a poor choice.

burnie,

You failed to mention the "stimulus" to Hollywood and communtiy groups like Acorn. Add to that money being spent years from now and government jobs in the bill, and you get no timely, no temporary (gubment jobs increase the baseline), and essentially a payback to the cronies that supported his campaign.

The funds for acorn was the last straw but then I already hated everything he stood for anyway.[:'(]

So far I have managed to not listen to a word he said since he was elected. (fast on the remote ) I guess I can get along without a president for a while.

No, you should not be p o ed at obama, a snake does ,what a snake does, if it bites you, dont blame the snake. I think frustration and anger about what obama is ,and does, should be directed at the numbskulls who voted for him. I mean how many bad associations, years attending in a racist church, people who hate america(at least what it use to be) supporting him, and negative, two faced comments about whites and people in rural america, do you need to hear before you say , "Whaoooo, sure the guys got a good line of BS, but mabye he's not the best guy to be putting in highest office in the free world"?

but maybe he's not the best guy to be putting in highest office in the free world"?

That statement is the understatement of the century. Like throwing a shot glass of water on a forest fire.
