Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default You owe me.

I have to share this. There is a man Ive known all my life. He is a Janitor. He never finished high school. I know, because we were in the same class. He lived for the party and pretty much did that all through high school. He and I get into political debates, which are always interesting and we both point out facts that the other respects. Last night, he and I were discussing this bail out and got onto the subject of why we voted for the our respected candidate. He always goes back to the notion of wealth redistribution, as one of his reasons. Just never comes right out and say it. Last night I just flat out said, "you want wealth redistribution." He said, " Ok, you"re right". I was shocked that he admitted it. I then asked why he thought wealth redistribution was fair. He out told me, "you and everyone else who makes more than me, owe me". I asked to explain why. He went on to tell me that he was disenfranchised because he never finished school. Needless to say I was shocked. I went on to explain," you stayed stoned all through school, so why does anyone owe you anything." He said, he is now unable to make the same pay check as I, so it"s my duty to help him out. I could do nothingbut laugh. I ended by saying, " you had the same opportunities as I did. " Actually he had more. He comes from a well off family. I came from a single mom, growing up under the poverty line. I"m just shocked. What"s the saying about the end of Democracy? Democracy will end when the people find out they can vote themselves a pay check. Or something like that. It looks like we are about to see those days.

That's how the morons on the left think...

Parasitic citizens = human beings
Productive citizens = human beings
Therefore Parasitic citizens = Productive citizens.

Due to this mathematical proof that parasites are the equal of producers, the scum socialists conclude that the producers should not be allowed to own more than the parasites. They then determine that it is their right to take things from the producers and give to the parasites.

Self-interest has been a cornerstone of American politics since the beginning. It's always been here. It's just that the country's now led by one of the most beggar-friendly presidents in recent memory. Wouldn't expect much less from a guy who went to Columbia.

Sounds like a dummy. Be advised there is a distribution of intelligence -- we are not all equally gifted. On some recent post someone pointed out that only 33% of Americans have the minimum IQ deemed necessary to succeed in college. Maybe your buddy, notwithstanding he is the scion of wealthy parents, is regrettably in the lower 33% of intelligence.

"You owe me." That is pretty shocking and offensive, but just dismiss it as the foolishness of a fool.

I don't blame you one bit for how you feel. I didn't have the best upbringing. I dropped out of high school and joined the navy, got my GED while in boot camp. Got married during my second hitch and got taking to the bank by my ex, causing bankruptcy. Got out of the navy and went to work at nothing jobs to pay the bills. Went to computer school, (paid my own way). After the dot com crash and 911 got laid off and was out of work for almost two years before finally deciding that the IT industry isn't for me anymore and went to school for HVAC ( again paying my own way) I am in by no means wealthy but not poor, my bills are paid and have enough to indulge my hobbies. My brother who has spent the better part of the last 12 years living off of workman's comp and the taxpayer dime, feels that I should help him out supporting his family of 6. First he and his wife knew they couldn't afford the second child much less the third or fourth. My family was helping him "for the kids". Never once did we see a penny of it back, but if you borrow ten bucks he's on you like stink on sh@# until you've paid it back. I'll bet he voted or Obamalamadingdong just to get another handout check.

My mom brought up 6 of us with no help. My grandparents did help her every once in a while though. No state aid or anything and my father never paid a dime of child support. After a quite of few years the state finally caught up with him and made him pay some child support which to my knowledge only the state recieved. He thought it was bad that he had to sell his airplane.. LOL
I never went to colledge either but I do hold a job that now requires anyone that comes in threw the gate needs to complete college to get there. The good paying job markets have become a money game more than anything else. Some folks ahead of me quit school to go to work and support their families while their fathers had to go to war. That does not say that they were stupid at all. It says they helped their families out as well as the companies they were working for. They built those companies up to what they are today only to see those very same companies run abroad. The sweat of their backs and all those companies could careless. Pension plans being taken away health insurances being taken away as well when they loose their jobs. This coutry"s gov has allowed this to happen so that all they worked for is lost when they die. They worked to help make their families better. They worked so that their children and grand kids would be able to see a better way of life.
Today where is it? They sold this country out for profits from abroad and now the CEOs are coming back crying because they are loosing money. To bad for them, when those folks that have worked so hard all their lives and now can't even afford to die. We have a problem Houston!
WhereI work today you need to be a college graduate to sweep the floor. Money is what buys them the job by going to colledge. But it does us no good to have them come in and try to learn how to do the next job. Some of the depts. first job has to be around moving machinery and with out experience they are not any good to us either. TodayI am being trained on the top job there which requires computers as well as being on your toes. Just think again no collede! Working with computers and all makes it a learning process as you go. It helps though that I know where every thing is when I hit a button. Exactly where the motor or valve is when I turn one on or off. Where and how much steam, stock, or water that needs to be added to keep things running the way we want them.If things are running good then it's pretty simple. But in only a few seconds it all changes. This may sound somewhat easy but there is alot going into the process.
With all the factories shutting down in today's world it would be hard to find any decent paying jobs. At the same time funneling dollars out abroad leaves a sour note to me. If they are going to send all that money out of the country for free. Then why and the heck are we going broke because they can not afford to invest in our own country? Everyone appears to complain when money is being spent in this country but are very content with money helping those poorer countries out. What gives?

Yes, I voted for Obama and not for hand outs. I voted with hope that he can do something to help get America working again.

Obama said he'd do wealth redistribution and he's set the plans in motion IMO

Everyone who voted for him or against him knew this was part of the game plan
