I went back and counted all the guns I have bought since 2000' ,about 35 that I can remember, (all now sold, of course) I was delayed once, right after 911 but since then, Ive never had as much as a hicup when buying a rifle or shotgun. Went to a used gun shop on sunday, and decided to buy a winchester 190, 22lr, in nice condition, cheap... delayed! Ok no biggie, no felonies on my record ,so Ill just pick it up later. Guy calls me today, and says sorry dude you were DENIED and to come in for a refund. I tell him ,Im not a felon and Ive bought at least 30 long guns, in the past 8 years, he says he's getting alot of that latley. He said hell give me an appeal form, when I come in. I called the 877number for NICS but they said they dont give info over the phone.

Gee, I though it was Bush who took all our constitutional rights away?

Can it possibly be a coincedence ,that Ive bought guns, all these years w/ no problem,and as recently as october 08', and the 1st one I try to buy under obama is denied? Has anyone else had this happen in the past 2 weeks?

Oh well , so much for the 2nd amendment, I guess. I guess I can just get extra locks on my doors, and hunt big and small game w/ my bow(ducks might be tough though).

I have not bought tried to buy a gun since the prince took the thrown but is wouldn't surprise me at all to see this crap happen a lot. The guy is anti gun and thats the kind of hogs that he will put in positions of power. I have never been delayed or denied. My wife was delayed once but it went through later in the day. I would immediately contact your senators and congressmen. Daily if need be. I would email Fox News and the DNC as well.

Ive got a buddy who owns a rather popular internet gun supply company in Dallas. He has been haveing a boom on his buisness. He is not using that money to close his doors and start another buisness, not in the gun industry. He told me there is no way he is going to be stupid enough to flush his lively hood down the toilet. This is a buisness that has suffered Clinton, yet he my buddy does not think it will suffer Obama. Once Daddy Obama gets his way, the gun industry is going to take a big hit. I hope all gun companies dont suffer too badly. Well Cooper deserves what he gets.[:@]
