I post this knowing impeachment is a political trial not criminal. However, why shouldn't he be allowed to play all wire taps, instead of selected parts that make him look bad and/or covers other VIPs involved?

We the people do. I believe there are some very bad stuff on those tapes being hiden by our government. I believe Harry Reid is guilty of telling Blago he didn't want another african american to fill obam's set (according to blago). That can be cleared up with whats onthe tape. I believe, Jessie Jackson Jr was payingto play. I believe Rahm, also was paying to play and maybe even made the first move. Shouldn't we the people be allowed to know the truth? Why is this so one sided? Let's get it out in the open.

Youmaybe correct, however, I'm highly suspicous when the government releases snipits of tapes, the procecutor stops the investigation short and leaks stuff and doesn't indict, and tape recordings are edited to slant to oneside.
I owned a very fun car for a number of years called a Delorean. Do you remeber it and the fact John Delorean was arrestted for attempting to sell cocain? For months were got the 6 tapes on loop of the FBI agent (his banker) cutting the deal for John and the cocain.However, when the trial came about, we found the FBI agent, posing as his banker, talked to him about a solution to save his failing dream. You could take that testimony eitherway. Then all of a sudden, the seventh tape was revealled and on that tape, John tried to back out before he was arrestted. That's when the FBI Agent, his banker, said "You can't back out now, we know where your family lives". He was found not guilty hence my plate for my car was "AQUITED". If I bought another one, my new tags would say "INTRAPED".
I just want to know the full story.

Well I don't know how a guy would know for sure but that prosecutor has a pretty fair record of wins.
So we're told, however he solves the case on the Plame leak the first week, yets keeps it going for months in order to get charges on BS case. Then he pulls the plug on Blago's investigation when big fish are involved without indicting anyone? HMMMM, I just don't get it.
I'm not going to defend nor put blago on trial here but I do want to know what's on those tapes.As long as Blago is on trial in the Senate of Il, I believe he is entitled to play every conversation related to what he is being acused of.

Something stinks AGAIN from the state of Illinois. There are too many questionable events for this to
be a comedy of errors. I agree with FM...we need to let some fresh air into this obviously skewed
investigation. They're painting Blago as some kind of a nut, but I've not heard him say anything that was
not somewhat lucid, based in fact and current events, and verifiable. Personally, I hope he does not step
down...the people of Illinois deserve whatever happens there, one way or the other, but a "Kangaroo Court" (in Blago's own words) cannot be tolerated for any reason. Cripes these democrat bung-holes wanna give
constitutional rights and civilian trials to terrorists apprehended in a combat zone...can they not afford the same niceties to an American citizen, one of our own ? To do otherwise suggests a coverup.
