I am pretty sure he is Carter II. That's one reason I put a little more money in precious metals. That, and the banks are paying next to nothing in interest. Take a look at the history of the price of gold. There is a huge spike in the last year of Carter. I'm thinking Barry can top that, given his circumstances coming in. I'm rooting for him, anyway (or against, depending on how you look at it).

And, yet... the idiots who voted for him will applaud as he accedes to Ahmadinejhad's demands that, as a precondition to talks between the U.S. and Iran, the U.S. must first (1) apologize for all of the atrocities it has committed against Iran, (2) withdraw all forces from the region, including Iran and Afghanistan, and (3) stop supporting the "Zionists"...
He's been in office what, one week and he's already labeled as a national disgrace and an embarrassment? Maybe we should wait and see what the man actually does as POTUS befor labeling with such extreme words.

such a peaceful people. We need to do just as Charter and Clinton did and bend over so they will have no trouble ramming us.
I could think of a lot more important issues to deal with, like getting our 400 million back that is going for family planning (aka abortion training) to other countries. Yup, we got so much extra cash to spend, we just have to throw it around like drunken sailors. Now thats fiscal responsibility.

well, I actually include the idiots who voted for him in my characterization of "EMBARRASSMENT AND NATIONAL DISGRACE". This garbage has been in office for 1 week and:
a: he is dismantling Bush policies which have kept us from another mass-attack for almost 8 years.
b: he's leading the charge to load the socialization of the banking industry with PORK
c: he is taking a weak and pusillanimous stance with 'the muslim world' in begging for their trust
He comes off as weak, and he invites our enemies to work against us. Karl Marx in 1898 (or thereabouts ?) was recently quoted as stating that once the excesses of the people break the banks, the government will have to spend all it's treasure to prop up the financial backbone of the country...in this manner we will have communism. Well-said, Karl.... That's apocalyptic to say the least.
