No Problem with the keep spending part, osama is going to do that up big time. More monopoly money for everyone, lets really get this game going. Make everybody rich, redistribute the wealth, I want a jet too. Take all the money from the rich so the poor can pay the bills. OH but wait, the poor are not going to pay for anything. How long can this work? The answer of course, is to print more money for everyone. UNTIL someone calls in their debt, someone like China who holds deed to much of our public land and national parks.
the Fact is that our Economy/Buisnesses drives their wholecommie nationand is the only reason they have a pot to piss in. the same thing can be said for a lot of other countrys too.
if you ask me China is the one that owes us....Numbers are just numbers.
not since FDR has a President had the ability to lead this country....
i supposesoume wouldrather do nothing about the current situation, all while sitting back and loading up there pockets with kickbacks.
peopel keep complaining about whose paying for it and how there Taxes are gonna go up.
NEWS FLASH YOUR TAXES ALWAYS GO UP REGUARDLESS OF THE SITUATION...
i say go ahead and spend...see where it gets us.
the dollars already not worth a damn thing anyway.
Please, give me a break. We could lay the current problems at the feet of FDR. A man that ran on tax cuts and then did the exact oposite when he got into office. A man that attempted to spend our way out of a depression and only made it worst by extending it.
You ask for a leader, Reagan was a leader. He picked this country up and showed they were the answer. Bush 43 was a leader. He could have do the easy thing and pulled out of Irag for political gain. No he didwhat was right and continued to win this war. Unfortunately, Obama is ready to surrender there and will hand all gains back Al Qaeda in only a few short months.
What hte republicans need to do is stand fast and vote no on the bill and mount a filibuster in the Senate. This will put them in the driver seat for 2010 and winning in a landslide to recapture both the House and Senate. Obama has done nothing bipartisan in this bill. There is absolutely nothing the Republicans have asked for put into this bill, so I must ask, what do they gain by voting for it?

LOL !!!! and you thought i was goofy.
the man only led the US in an effort to save the World.
Please alpha, put up substance, I did. FDR ran on tax cuts when the top bracket was 60%. Instead, after he got in office, he raised them to 90%. He also increased government spending because he too believed only the government could save us. Instead it prolonged the depression until WW2 brought us out. Those are facts and even one of Obama's top economic advorsors wrote her college theisis on that (I believe that's why she wrote that paper for).
If you think that history is too far past to apply today, I can give you a linkfor ***an's decade long slump that once again can be blamed on the belief government spending will work. On the other hand, I can give you several examples on tax cuts leading to substantial economic growth. Would you be interested in them?
I must ask you, do you think it's wise to burden a struggling industry like the automobile with mandated R&D expenditures when sales are in the tank and bailouts are required? Do you think it's wise to burden the common man with a new car price tag 2K+ great just a year or two away? This is what Obama has done in the last few days. How is that going to equal growth and prosperity? Do you think it's wise to raise everyone's electricity bills by 10% or more begining this summer? How does this help?
