Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default "Climate change has a firm grip"

I wont bore you with the whole article this time, just the begeining.

I'd just like to know one thing as I'm not familar with the scientific comunity, is it made up of different sects, by that I mean is it like religion made up of many different kinds, kinds that don't get along

The reason I'm wondering is if these scientist are excepted and well respected it can be used in determinig the credibility in other area's of science. Truthfully they all pretty much sound like they're from the same stem cell.

Here it is:

"Even if by some miracle the nations of the world could bring carbon dioxide levels back to those of the pre-industrial era, it would still take 1,000 years or longer for the climate changes already triggered to be reversed, scientists said Monday.

The gas already here and the heat that has been absorbed by the ocean will exert their effects for centuries, according to an analysis published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences."

Ten thousand years now...that's how long the planet has been warming. We are insignificant peons in the larger picture of global climate dynamics. You just can't stop Nature once its on a roll...

Here is what they don't tell you.

only 1 to 2% of our atmosphere is made up of green house gases. Of that 1 to 2% overwhelmingly 95% of that is water vapor. CO2 only accounts for 3.62%. Then we must ask the all important question, how much of that 3.62%of CO2is due to human activity? only 3.4%. That means we only contribute .28% of the greenhouse gases. How in the world can any change we make, have any effect? We are way at the bottom of the list behind the oceans, volcanos, trees and yes, even termites.

Read up about this hoax:

If you want more links when your done with that one, just let me know.
