LOL For once.... I can actually be proud of my home state senator's vote...lol.
Used to live in WV and was raised in Randolph county. Byrd does do some things right. A USMC troop from WV was very badly wounded in RVN and had to ge medevaced. Somehow the guy lost his rifle and the USMC tried to make him pay for it. On the floor of the US senate Byrd threatened to introduce a measure to prevent the USMC for collecting the price of the rifle from the mans pay.The uSMC backed down.
