Default Camping

I probably posted this years back, but I'm curious again...

Who camps? What's your rig, or do you tent-camp only? Any dry camping? What's you favorite spot?

For me:
Small pop-up camper and minivan. We camp at state parks mostly. Haven't tried dry camping yet. The best palace so far has been Fort De Soto in Florida.

Yep, I love to camp. I keep it pretty simple and prefer to go during the cooler months. I hate summer camping. Usually take a cheap 4-person tent, a sleeping bag and mat, a propane burner, a frying pan, an insulated lunchbox full of hotdogs, buns, marshmellows, jerky, granola bars, and some bottled water. I usually stick to state parks and forests. Sky Meadows here and Elk Neck in Maryland are a couple of common locations.

I camp in my truck( and bronco)usaaly- but we do have tents that very rarely get used ( well now a suburban/havent used it yet- that we have) while hunting , fishing, camping etc. Hope to do some come spring

Dry you prob mean the hook ups? Dont have those. Depending on where we go- but notalways running water either close by.

Do it several times a year. Some times ill drag the camper and do it in style. Other times, when on motorcycle trips, I tent it.

We camp as a family every year as often as we camp. Tent camping only, anything else isn't real camping. We do WMA's and National Forests, rivers etc.

When I elk hunt I go wilderness backpack hunting/camping

Nope, go sleep under the stars. Build a shelter. Sorry, you are not a true camper.

LMAO. I just love the one up thing. Sorry, you are not a true camper. A true camper would never think of using a tent. By the way, when you going to become a "real hunter"? Havent seen any harvest with a self bow yet. Especailly one you made. LMAO
