Lead off quote for those who are affected. Wake up you liberals, we can't afford you anymore (those in the quote aren't included in my statement). California, the meca of liberals, is broke. So who do you pull the rug out from under first? The very needy folks you always claim your raising taxes for. So I must ask you, why aren't they first in line? Suspend all government workers for 2 out of 3 days a week. It's a start but facts are your so broke, you could end the payroll for years to come and your still in the hole.
Wake up America, government is the problem. Quit the spending and demanding something for nothing. It's over. I was read an article not long ago that had real numbers that showed California is completely bankrupt. There isn't anything they can do right now to stop it. Even if they cut 100% of state employees pay, they couldn't make up half of what they owe this year. I would love to have a copy of what I read last week or for someone to prove me wrong, but I won't hold my breath. I'm only hoping for no federal bailout and for Obama to do the right thing and not pass this massive spending bill.

But you have been stating that you have been doing so good!! So why would you mind if your income tax went back in to helping you do even better? The way i see it is just another republican investing your state's money to help you all out..

Have you ever thought of moving? I typed in 'leaving California' in google, and I was overwhelmed with stories of people leaving, and businesses leaving. I don't think it is a coincidence that the people leaving are the ones who work, pay taxes, employ people, and are legal citizens. I don't think there is any hope for California. I don't see how there can be.

I was actually looking online last night at a place in Missouri, but I'm just getting my business going so I'll be staying here full time for a least a few more years.
