Terror suspects who have been held but released from Guantanamo Bay are increasingly returning to the fight against the United States and its allies, the Pentagon said Tuesday.
Sixty-one detainees released from the U.S. Navy base prison in Cuba are believed to have rejoined the fight, said Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell, citing data from December. That's up from 37 as of March 2008, Morrell said.
Yep, the US releasedhigh hundredsof those terroristsafter their home countries appealed to the white house:Many of them were Saudis. The Saudswelcomed their terrorists back with open arms, sent them to an Islamic re-indoctrination course and turned them loose. Many were later killed fighting with alQueda against Saudi security forces.
Could not care less what the US does with them. However, do it quickwithout the political shenanigans. Do it with all of them: Do not turnterrorists over to Saudi Arabia whose citizens attackedthe US on 911: Oh gosh, how silly of me: The Saudis have oil.[:'(]
I think we should let them all go. And, we should give them free transport halfway home. Middle of the Atlantic, let em loose, and tell them they can swim the rest of the way.

Better idea;
Since we cannot interrogate them anymore, let"™s stop taking prisoners. Kill on site should be the new mantra. Problem solved. They will never show up on a battle field agian, or in planes that fly into our buildings. They are no longer a wealth of info, so just kill on site.

I am sure that if they were radical islam, then they will return to that. Doubt that waterboarding helped their attitude. At the same time, I am enormously skeptical that we really know what they are doing unless they shoved a beeper up their fanny. Sounds like political BS to me.
