A grand jury indicted Dixon on 12 counts, including four counts of perjury and two counts of theft over $500. She was also charged with theft under $500, fraudulent misappropriation by a fiduciary and misconduct in office.
The State Prosecutor's Office, which has been investigating corruption at City Hall for nearly three years, said Dixon received holiday gift cards for four years from several people. Prosecutors said the gift cards were to be distributed to needy families, but were instead used by Dixon to buy electronics "” including an Xbox, a PlayStation 2 and a camcorder "” clothes and other merchandise and also handed out to members of her staff.
That move isn't very surprising. Taking what is donated and keeping it for yourself is pretty common for those who aren't dedicated to the cause and only part time volunteersfor the cause. I was putting in phone systems many years ago and one was at a Marine Corp Reserve Center a few days installing one. The Marine that was there offered me a pick of the gifts there that were for the Toys For Tots Drive. I turned it down, reported it to the local news station (which did nothing) and vowed never to donate to such orgs like that. I choose my charities based on dedication to the cause and commitments.

I know, the special session was a joke. But shockingly enough, he put a pro-hunter/fisherman as head of DNR. And hasn't stopped the bear hunt yet. Also approved a female blue crab decreased catch for waterman.
Remember the Democrats are going to "Clean the swamp", so they are the only party that is on the up and up.
Did they specify which swamp? Did they say "th swamp" or was it "THE swamp?" Either way you can bet that the Democrats incongresswill do little or nothing.
