This line says it all!

The parents will have been spared the risk of inflicting this disease on their daughter. [:@]

I am repulsed by this move to test babies before they are born for "defects" in order to ensure a "perfect" baby.

Whether I like it or not, it is going to become common practice. Nothing different than amniosyntethis, which has been going on for years.

I have nothing against testing but I see no real point because I would not support abortion under any circumstance.

Taking nature out of the equation. Longer life spans, higher populations, and on and on. I'm sure it will be common place but will good ole planet earth be able to handle it in a few hundred years?

Tim Tebow was recommended for abortion and look at him now.

It's my personal belief that the devaluing of human life is more a sign of the end of times than anything that was listed in the 2012 thread. I wouldn't make a prediction to the year because the Bible tells us no man knows. BUT, with a lot of things that are happening, it wouldn't surprise me if we aren't pretty close.
